How to Apply

The De La Salle application for Fall 2024 is now closed. Applications for Fall 2025 will open September 2024. Prospective families interested in learning more about the De La Salle community may join us for our spring tours on May 21, 2024 and May 23, 2024. Click HERE to register for spring tours.

Below are steps to complete an application for De La Salle Academy:

STEP 1: SUBMIT AN APPLICATION

TO APPLY ONLINE:

​

Visit Ravenna to create an account. Ravenna is our online portal where you can sign up for upcoming events and complete the application process. Please complete the following preliminary pieces.

• Current photo of the applicant

STEP 2: REGISTER THE APPLICANT FOR THE ENTRANCE EXAM: Contact admissions@dlsanyc.org for makeup testing dates.

De La Salle Academy administers a three-hour in-person exam. Families who apply online must register in Ravenna to sit for the exam. Applications submitted by email will be automatically registered to take the entrance exam.

STEP 3: SUBMIT ADDITIONAL MATERIALS

​

Submit the following pieces of the application either online through Ravenna or by following the directions outlined on forms 2A/2B.

• Current report card

• Transcript of grades from prior year

• (2) Teacher/Counselor or Principal Recommendations

​

STEP 4: FAMILY INTERVIEW DAY

​

Two to three weeks following the entrance exam, families will be notified via email whether their child will proceed to the next round of the admissions process. Students moving to the next step will be invited to attend an interview with the De La Salle Academy faculty on a specified day.

STEP 5: APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID

​

Families must be invited to apply for financial aid using Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS). We will use the information you submit to determine a fair amount of aid during final decisions. If your family has already completed the TADS financial form for another school, please add De La Salle Academy to the application.

Final admission decisions and financial aid awards for Fall 2024 will be announced by email on Monday, April 8 2024 by end of day, pending submission of all application materials.
