
How to Apply
Step 1: Submit an Application
To initiate an application families must create an account on Ravenna. Once the online portion of the application has been submitted via Ravenna you will be prompted to submit both (2) current teacher recommendation forms and school transcript(current/previous year) to your child’s current school to be completed. Schools should return the forms through Ravenna or by emailing admissions@dlsanyc.org.
Step 2 : Register to take the Entrance Exam
De La Salle Academy administers a 3-hour in-person exam. Families must register in Ravenna to sit for the exam. Limited makeup dates may be made available for special circumstances.
Step 3: Apply for Financial Aid
Following the entrance exam families will be invited to apply for financial aid using Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS). We will use the information you submit to determine a fair amount of aid during final decisions. If your family has already completed the TADS financial form for another school, please add De La Salle Academy to the application.
Step 4: Family Interview Day
Two to three weeks following the entrance exam, families will be notified via email, whether their child will proceed to the next round of the admission process. Students moving to the next step will be invited to attend an interview with the De La Salle Academy faculty on a specified day.
Final admission decisions and financial aid awards will be announced by email in April 2024, pending submission of all application materials.
